Intra-Cellular Therapies, Inc. supports charitable activities to further patient and caregiver education, disease awareness and other philanthropic causes that benefit patients or the community.
We seek to support charitable activities that are inclusive of all genders, religion, race, national origin, sexual orientation, age, veteran, or disability status. Intra-Cellular will fund events in accordance with this Policy until funding resources are exhausted.
Eligibility
We will review charitable requests from U.S. non-profit organizations described in Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code, including:
- Patient advocacy organizations
- Healthcare-related humanitarian organizations
- Healthcare industry associations
- Academic institutions engaged in disease and patient and caregiver education
- Patient, professional, medical and scientific associations
- Community service organizations
The following are not eligible for Charitable Giving funding:
- For-profit organizations
- Political or lobbying organizations, labor unions or religious groups
- Independent third-party patient assistance organizations that provide financial assistance to patients taking Intra-Cellular Therapies, Inc. products
Required Materials
- Submission of completed application
- Most recent W-9 Form, Proof of tax exempt status (if applicable)
- Letter of Request on your organization letterhead including description of program and amount of support sought
- Detailed budget for program/activity, including:
- Full program cost
- Proportion of the program to be funded by Intra-Cellular Therapies, Inc.
- Program details broken down by major categories (e.g., costs associated with program development, delivery, venue charges, enduring material costs) and per-person costs for any transfers of value to attendees, faculty and staff (e.g., honoraria, airfare, hotel accommodations, food and beverage costs)
- Agenda, if applicable, for program/event/project. If not available, please submit topics to be covered
